Donated toys will be collected and distributed to children in need throughout the Lowcountry this holiday season.

And at 11 a.m. on the wknds!
A very welcome guest from the North Pole will make special weekend appearances in the Great Ocean Tank. From November 29 through December 21, don’t miss this opportunity to see SCUBA Claus swim with the fish during select Aquarium dive shows! For more information, call (843) 577-FISH (3474).

Lastly, one of the more fun things we do to kick off the holiday season (I hope I don't regret posting this bc there is limited space and I hope we get on!!!):
Nov. 29, 2014 -- Toys for Tots Annual Harbor Cruise with a 10:45am boarding and cruise time 11:00am until 12:30pm

Y'all have a great wk!

Farmers Mkt Love!

Our new love is the Johns Island Farmers Mkt! Best news ever: it's year-round!

They have beautiful vegetables. And most of the farmers are from right there on Johns Island anyway. Joseph Fields farms still has bags of field peas and butterbeans for $5 - most of the other farmers have increased to $7. I buy a lot of field peas ever since my second pregnancy - he is a field pea baby :)

Have y'all ever tried beet greens? I love them - we have put them on sandwiches and in salads.

Last time we went we ran into friends!

Sweet babies...

The girls got to paint their own butterfly masks.

Then we all tried bobbing for apples :) It's so much harder than it seems! Trick: go for the ones with the stem bobbing upright!

So much fun!

Even the baby tried it. We finally just fished one out for him...which he promptly dropped in the dirt no less than 467 times.

They have great vendors other than veggies out there too. The Clothes on a Bus vendor makes Johns Island their Saturday home before they do Sunday brunch at the Riverland Terrace mkt. I love them.
And our new fave, Two Fat Cooks!
The BEST baked sweets ever! Please try their key lime tarts!!!

See y'all there!
